HID 24TEC MK II/ACCU 10 Ah - NEW! - technical description

Purpose: main light source for diving. The light is emitted by an HID (high intensity discharge) filament installed in the head together with the ballast. The ballast is the electronic control system ensuring constant intensity of light. Ballast equiped with Quick Start-Stop system. Colour temperature: 6500ºK, the colour is similar to natural daylight, light distribution angle: 3,5º. The casing is made of DELRIN air-tightened with 2 o-rings. 6 mm thick sealed with three o-rings tempered glass. Maximum measurements: length: 192 mm, diameter: 76 mm. The head has a socket for plugging in the power supply cable. The power supply cable plug is provided with two o-rings ensuring airtight connection after connecting to the head.

Power supply: 12/ V 10 Ah Ni-MH battery pack (memory effect free) with overvoltage protection, waterproof casing made of DELRIN. The casing is sealed with two o-rings. Maximum measurements: length: 258 mm, diameter: 66 mm. The battery container has a socket for plugging in the power supply cable. The power supply cable plug is provided with two o-rings ensuring airtight connection after connecting to the head. The battery container is equipped with a bracket to attach to the hip belt or under the belt holding the cylinder.
